The NEW RT-1 portable digital thermometer & probe from Labfacility provides a level of accuracy which is unique in a hand-held instrument. With the companion platinum resistance thermometer sensor, overall measurement accuracy is ±0.05oC, ±0.08% of reading, the sort of performance normally associated with more expensive bench-top precision indicators.
The use of a special Pt1000 platinum resistance thermometer detector with a selected 1/10 DIN tolerance connected to a high stability, precision measuring circuit allows consistent, long term performance to the stated accuracy and with a display resolution of 0.01oC. This extends laboratory levels of accuracy to the field for applications such as food and pharmaceutical processes, Quality Assurance and on-line test procedures.
Controls are limited to on/off keys for rapid, simple and reliable operation and the lightweight, compact case is strong and splashproof. A backlit display allows use in low light levels and an auto-off feature contributes to the long, 350 hour battery life. The RT-1 comes with a 2 year warranty and can be supplied with a UKAS certificate of calibration.
